Hot tub cover lifts can be easy to overlook when purchasing your first spa. Experienced owners of hot tubs know that a lid lifter is absolutely essential for the protection and maintenance of your spa.
While it is possible to save money by choosing a cover lifter from another brand or one that is not designed specifically for your hot tub model, investing in a quality system designed to integrate with your spa cover in the future is a great way to save money. Status Wellness will improve the aesthetics and overall experience of having a spa. Having an easy way to remove and replace the cover will ensure you use your hot tub more often and will extend the life of the cover by keeping it off the floor.
Easy to Use
At the most basic level, hot tub cover lifters make covering and uncovering your spa simple: no heavy lifting and no having to lug your cover from storage to use. Without an easy way to remove your hot tub cover, you may find yourself soaking less often. For this reason, it is important to get a lid lifter that makes it easy for anyone to open and close the hot tub.
Made with care
The quality of your hot tub lid lift also makes a big difference in a few other areas. A well-designed hot tub should last more than a decade. Therefore, if your cover lift is not rust-proof, weather-resistant, and made of durable materials, it will wear out quickly and will not adequately protect your spa throughout its lifetime.
With a HotSpring spa cover lifter, the crossbar is integrated within the seam of the cover, so you never have to worry about a metal bar stretching across your spa. However, not all cover lifters are designed this way. Also, cover lifters are not always on display unless you order a lifter integrated into the cover.
